VR Haunted House 3D

vr horror apps for iphone - vr haunted house 3D

How is the gameplay?

Once you start the application and choose the difficulty level, you will be standing in an old house.

It’s so dark, everything’s a mess, and you’re alone.

Well, you might not be alone.

Go to the second floor and see who’s waiting for you.

How scary is it?

As someone who’s quite immune to horror, I got that jump scared when I met that “someone”.

What do people say about it?

“Sort of a zombie shooter in a haunted house game. Good graphics in stereoscopic 3D. Really nice lighting, detail and textures in the house–I like the rats! Roaring zombies spawn endlessly. Zombie animation is decent. I like how they will climb stairs to get to you. Sound not directional, so you can’t tell how near or far they are by the sound they make. Boy shouting help seems to disappear–maybe he’s a ghost!”

11:57

vr horror apps for iphone

How is the gameplay?

You’re actually just standing in the middle of a room.

But this isn’t a normal room.

This kind of room usually exists in a horror movie.

And, now, you’re inside the horror movie called 11:57.

Pay attention to every single step, the sound of a door open, and anything you probably never want to hear in real life.

How scary is it?

It only took a few seconds to make me scared. No music, but all I hear was someone’s step on the floor, the sound of a door open, some activities in the kitchen. I couldn’t move and I felt like something was going to come, so I had to put off my BeThere Book—because I was too scared. Can you finish it?

What do people say about it?

“This horror video makes your palms sweat and your knees shake! Great work on making it feel like your actually in the video. It leaves you shivering about when the next thing or jump scare happens! And it is super funny to see your friends literally pee their self after watching this! 5/5 stars well done.”

Catatonic — WITHIN

vr horror apps

How is the gameplay?

First off, Catatonic is one of the VR short movies from WITHIN. This experience is best when you’re sitting down because, in this virtual world, you’re actually sitting on a wheelchair, and…

you realize you’re in a hospital;

but it’s too dark for a normal hospital;

as you wander around—with someone behind you—you know something isn’t right in this hospital.

Not. At. All.

How scary is it?

I told three of my friends to try it. Two were screaming out loud.
